The large flake of hard limestone has an irregular, roughly convex surface. It is carved in high relief with the heads of seven animals; the mask of a panther, a scarab beetle and five animals in profile: a lion, a gazelle, a hound and two calves, one with its tongue out, lapping. Some dendritic staining and the muzzle of the dog chipped away.Provenance
