The elegant trefoil-lipped jug is covered is a rich black glaze, and is set on a moulded ring foot. Above it a pear-shaped body topped by a slender neck with a deeply pinched trefoil rim, a tall vertical handle rises from the almost flat shoulder arching in a curl before attaching to the back of the rim. Miltos wash on the underside of the base. Intact, a scratch to the glaze on the body, and a couple of chips to the glaze around the rim touched in.
