Sessile kantharos, the red-figure decoration enlivened with added white. On each side, between the strap handles, there is a broad band of triple feather design, alternating white on black, and black on red, above which on one side runs a thin band with a long tendril of white ivy leaves, giving a chequerboard effect, then a row of tongues at the top and bottom border. The resting edge reserved, the inner wall of the foot in black the rest reserved with a black central dot surrounded by a single circle. The base with collection number in ink 'CV - I - 34'. Largely intact but repaired breaks and small losses around the two handles. Some losses to the glaze in the interior and the underside of the ring foot.
