Elegantly-shaped amphora attributed to the Dresden Painter.
Side A: Zeus, standing right and draped, holding a kylix
Side B: Hera, standing in the same pose, draped and holding a long red sash in front of a chair
With KALOS ('beautiful') inscriptions and added red details on both sides. Unusual added rolled tubular element at base of both handles. Good condition, minor repair in black areas; minor retouching at repair lines
