Carved from a fine-grained white marble, the life-size male hand has slender fingers and carefully detailed nails, grasping a scroll or staff. A large dowel hole near the wrist. Loss at the base of the little finger, tips of fingers slightly worn. Rootilation to the otherwise smooth surface.
