Small pottery jar or amphoriskos in Bichrome ware, finely potted and painted, the ovoid body sits on a low, slightly concave base, the tall, wide neck tapering upwards, with an everted rim, a pair of opposing, vertical handles rise from the centre of the body. Decorated in black and purple paint with bands of broad and narrow lines around the body and below the rim inside, a frieze of large, criss-crossing strokes between the handles, possibly representing stylised fronds. Intact, a couple of minor chips to the surface.
