Disc-shaped mace head carved from an attractive black and white speckled diorite, the outer edge bevelled, the upper surface slightly concave, the body cone-shaped with concave sides, central hourglass-shaped shaft hole widening towards the opening at underside and a constriction just before the upper face. The surface retains its original polish. Two minor chips and some wearing to the outer edge.
