Ionic capital carved in a fine limestone, with an egg-and-dart pattern encircling the top of the column shaft, and acanthus leaf ornamentation between the convex volute scrolls, the outer surface of the volutes decorated with overlapping pointed leaves, topped by a square abacus with stepped upper surface. Some chips and abrasions, the latter touched in, incrustation to areas, particularly the carved lines.
