Mould-made in a bright green faience, the mummiform figure carries the usual agricultural implements of a crook and flail in his cross hands, and a seed bang flung over his left shoulder. The lappets of his striated wig fall forwards over his shoulders, exposing his ears. He wears a false beard and stands on an integral rectangular base. The dorsal pillar is engraved with a hieroglyphic inscription in the name of the steward of the horses, scribe of the royal stable, Padineith.
“If Padineith born of Tches-Bastet is appointed to do any work in necropolis, the world of the dead, Here I am! you will say.”
Intact, a small area of glaze touched in on the right side.

Padineith held the office of High Priest of Ptah. He was in charge of the sacred and daily rites taking place in the temples.
