Head of a satyr mould-made in micaceous clay and finished by hand, with long serpentine moustache falling over his full beard, the sides of his head are wrapped around with a thick band of hair, leaving the crown bald. His wide mouth has full lips and his large eyes are almond shaped, outlined with thick rims. The proper right side of the the applied beard is missing revealing a pointed chin.
