Stamnos with spherical body, two upward-flaring handles attached at the shoulder, the bulbous shape tapering to a spreading conical foot. The stamnos is decorated on the shoulder with three thin incised lines which sit above a stamped decorative band of figures and horses. The lower section of the lid is straight sided and decorated with a stamped guilloche design, echoing the decoration on the body, the disc-knot has a tall stem. The surface of the vessel is burnished black. Wear and minor chips in places, including to the areas of the relief, recomposed from fragments, some surface wear touched in.
