single wheel-cut, horizontal band. A small
chip from the lip repaired, otherwise intact.

Joseph Maudslay was General Superintendent in charge of the construction of the Assuan-Luxor Railway Line, (1903-1906). The headquarters were at Minia, where he shared a house with Mr Howard Carter. This bowl was collected during this period.
