Free-blown pale blue glass, thick-walled, of hemispherical form, subtly tapering upward to a broken-off and polished rim. Two thick and deep bands of wheel-cut lines both with traces of gilding and silver iridescence. A pierced hole on side with traces of encrustation in the area in the shape of a handle plate, which has since been lost. A rectangular whilte old collection label inscribed 'S.H.40' on the base
