Bronze spectacle fibula formed from a single strip of metal, circular-shaped in section twisted into two large spiral, with a figure-of-eight twist attaching them in the centre. The back with a pin emerging from the centre of the spiral, and stretching to be held in place by a hook that emerges from the centre of the other spiral.
Such brooches are found throughout central and southern Europe, and range in date from 11th-5th century BC.
